Director of Education

Donelda Joy Sapp started work with the band in February of 2000 as a Administrative Assistant and in April of 2009 was promoted to the position of Director. She works extensively with the Band staff, teachers, and students to help better their school experience. Post Secondary

We the staff would like to congratulate Donna Desnomie on Twenty years of dedication to the Post Sec program. May there be many more

Donna Desnomie has been in charge of the program since 1991, and has ? graduates come though the program in that time. She is also responsible for on Reserve Aboriginal Human Resources Development . For those of you who are curious as to what post-Sec is here is a little definition to help you under stand.

To apply to post -sec you must have some form grade 12,(upgrading, high school, GED) and the program that you are applying for must require grade 12 and runs for one year or longer and leads to a certificate, Diploma, or Degree from a recognized Post secondary institute.

Peepeekisis Pesakastew School was completed in 1993, and has Nursery though grade 12. This school was built to replace the old two-room School which was in use until 1989.
